Bansko is an exciting place to spend a winter holiday with 70kms of north facing slopes.  It boasts the best snow record out of all the Bulgarian ski resorts, but not leaving anything to chance snow cannons cover 80% of the slopes .  The modern lift system ensures minimal queuing to give you extra time on the piste.   The Pirin Mountains have terrain to suit all levels of skiers and snowboarders, including wide open slopes, tree line skiing and some excellent off-piste*.  The Fun Park is a favourite for the daring and the young at heart.   Bansko regularly plays host to international competitions throughout the winter season.   There is also plenty of après ski, whether you are looking for a relaxed evening or an energetic boogie in one of the local nightclubs.
